Nosferatu: of Vampire Terrible Phantomes

High Concept: Nosferatu: Of Vampyres Terrible Phantoms is a 3D horror game that combines elements of hide and seek and puzzle-solving, with a touch of "free-room" gameplay. The player takes on the role of investigator Henry Scofield, who must evade the vampire Nosferatu while using his movement and interaction with objects to avoid detection or concealment from the villain. The objective is to explore the castle and uncover notes that reveal the habits and weaknesses of the Nosferatu, ultimately leading to the creation of its legend.

Objective: The player's goal is to access five specific locations within the castle in order to complete their objective of documenting the Nosferatu's way of life and vulnerabilities. However, in order to access these places, the player must explore the castle, encountering puzzles and obstacles along the way, including the Nosferatu itself. Only by successfully completing their task will the player be able to escape the vampire's fortress.

Differentiators: Our approach seeks to replicate the artistic style of the film, which, while limited by the era in which it was made, carries its own unique audiovisual identity. To that end, we have chosen to use Clear shot-style cameras, similar to those used in Resident Evil, in order to replicate a cinematic perspective. Additionally, the game will be presented in black and white, with the vignette effect present, simulating the appearance of an old, damaged film. Finally, in terms of sound, we will not include any sound effects, instead working exclusively with music to provide feedback to the player in a unique way.
